Kool-Aid McKinstry had a rough day Saturday as Alabama's punt returner. By my count, Alabama lost 45 yards on balls that rolled 11, 13 and 21 yards after McKinstry didn't field them. On the one ball he did catch, he tried to return it instead of making a fair catch, the coverage was good, and he took a 7-yard loss. It didn't matter Saturday, but in a closer game, losing more than 50 yards of field position could be critical. Does Alabama have a viable alternative to McKinstry at this late point in the season? If not, what does he need to change with his approach? Is it positioning? Confidence? Judgment?

What change was made to limit the penalties during the UT game. By far the cleanest game played and a stark contrast from the rest of the games. Sustainanable?
