Bobby Shmurda Is Coming Home. What Happens Next? Heard on All Things Considered RODNEY CARMICHAEL SIDNEY MADDEN Twitter LISTEN· 5:315-Minute ListenAdd toPLAYLIST Download Embed Transcript Bobby Shmurda at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Oct. 30, 2014.Taylor Hill/Getty Images It was less a specific dance sequence and more of a stylistic template: a pliant sway, a kind of two-step dressed up with silky swagger. The Shmoney Dance, 2014's viral craze, juxtaposed with the grimy lyrics of 19-year-old rapper Bobby Shmurda's breakthrough hit "Hot Boy," rocketed the kid from East Flatbush into pop culture's stratosphere. But then, just as quickly as he'd entered the spotlight, he disappeared. Born Ackquille Pollard, Bobby Shmurda has spent the last six years serving time on illegal firearm and conspiracy charges, handed down as part of a major police takedown of his neighborhood crew, GS9. As NPR investigated in a three-part arc on Louder Than A Riot last fall, the ...

Another big Fed rate hike is here to battle inflation. Economy hangs in balance

Another big Fed rate hike is here to battle inflation. Economy hangs in balance Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell maintains the central bank has the tools it needs to bring high inflation under control.Win McNamee/Getty Images With prices rising at their fastest pace in a generation, the Federal Reserve is ratcheting up its fight against inflation. On Wednesday, the Fed raised its benchmark interest rate by an additional three-quarters of a percentage point. This is the fourth time the central bank has raised rates this year. It follows an increase of the same size in June — rate hikes at this pace and magnitude have not occurred since the late 1980s. Despite these fast and furious moves, the central bank has its work cut out for it. Its goal is to rein in inflation without kickstarting a recession. ECONOMY Who wins and who loses when the Fed hikes interest rates? "The labor market is extremely tight, and inflation is much too high," Fed Chair Jerome Powell said at a news c...

Texas Tech Basketball: Arkansas poses different challenge

Texas Tech head coach Chris Beard yells to his team during the first round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 19, 2021, at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind. Mandatory Credit: Sam Owens/IndyStar via USA TODAY Sports Texas Tech Basketball: Arkansas poses different challenge by Andrew Gleinser 16 hours ago Follow @AndrewGleinser TWEET SHARE x COMMENT The Texas Tech basketball team will need a different gameplan against Arkansas. After a particularly sluggish first half on offense, the Texas Tech basketball team woke up in the second half to take care of Utah State in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Friday. They now await a date with former Southwest Conference foe Arkansas this afternoon, and that game will present an entirely different challenge. Defensively, the Red Raiders clearly focused on containing Aggies center Neemias Queta, repeatedly collapsing inside to prevent him from getting a clean look at the basket. They basically dared Utah State to...

Gay story: Straight Blonde 10" Marine Cock

I had a message on one of the gay sex sites from a 27-year-old Marine! He described himself and said, he liked the picture of my butt. I'm a true vers, but hadn't been getting much bottom action in lately and decided to try something different. I removed all the pics and just posted an ass shot. I'm not young or buff but thought I'd try the picture for a week or so and see what happened. This was my first response to it. "I like your butt, I could fuck it for hours. I have a huge cock and a hot sculpted U.S.M.C physique. I'm in a motel room alone, in your town, and am looking for now or in the next hour." I was really intrigued! "To get me hard and ready to fuck, you must be able to give excellent head, but once it's hard it stays hard until I've shot two or three times. I'm only here for tonight, you must be discrete. I can't send a face pic, let me know as soon as possible!" His stats reported him to be: 27 yrs old, 6'2...

Gay story: Acquaintance Of The Family

I first met Ed at a family gathering one summer when I was in college. My family on my mothers side had deep connections to the area in which I went to school and every year we would gather at a grand house on the lake that my uncle used to take care of before he moved away. The owner gave him use of the house for at least two weeks every summer and we would grill, drink, and swim until we were exhausted. It was a beautiful property and the house itself had 4 floors. The bottom floor led to the lake and had a sauna and a small gym area. The first floor had an outrageously comfortable sitting area and large windows overlooking the lake along with a nice little kitchen. The top two floors were filled with bedrooms, including the master bedroom on the top floor, which I eventually found out belonged to Ed, the current caretaker, when the house was otherwise unoccupied. I was helping my uncle out with grilling and just having a drink on the patio when Ed first came around to grab something...

The truth about gay male, sex and penis size

The truth about gay male, sex and penis size HARRY ESS Dear straight people, this is how you should act in gay bars We all know that penis size is one of men’s greatest obsessions but most don’t know the surprising truth behind the size myths. Did you know, for example, that humans are better endowed than all our primate cousins? You may expect a gorilla to be better hung than you but you would be wrong, both in terms of absolute and relative size. The subject has been firmly on the agenda with a couple of big stories over the last few weeks. Over the weekend we heard a penis transplant on a 21-year-old in South Africa had apparently been a success. He had lost his penis in a botched circumcision at age 18 but now has a fully functioning member, capable of urination, erection, orgasm and ejaculation. It makes you wonder if one day, lab-grown or donated penises will be grafted on to men who have extreme concerns over size. And at the start of March we learned about a study of 15,0...

8 Facts We Never Knew About the Male Body

8 Facts We Never Knew About the Male Body The male body conceals within itself a multitude of surprises. Some of its peculiarities remain largely unknown not only to women but also to men themselves. Bright Side decided to pull the curtain back a little on some of these secrets and selected 8 facts that will make you look at men in a whole new way. 1. Slow aging © Depositphotos A man's face preserves its youthful appearance a lot longer than a woman's does. This is all down to the fact that a man's skin loses its concentration of collagen much slower as he ages, meaning it's much more resistant to wrinkling and sagging. However, because men generally take less care of the skin on their face than women do, they're more susceptible to harmful external conditions which can reduce their natural advantages over women to zero. 2. The ability to lactate © Depositphotos Yes, you read that right. Men also have glands that can produce milk. But its production represents an ...
